The 2017 race will be held October 21, 2017 at Murphy-Hanrehan Park, 15501 Murphy Lake Road, Savage, MN 55378. 

COURSE RACE INFO: This is a suburban course through a beautiful park. All races are on trails with two miles of single track, although the south end of the course runs like a single track due to the horses. All races will start at 15501 Murphy Lake Road, Savage, MN. There will be one loop of 16.7 miles. The 25K will be one loop, the 50K will be two loops, and the 50 mile will be three loops. These events are to be competitive and fun. They will be official races; however, most of the prizes and awards will be for costumes to go along with the Halloween theme. 

The fee will include aid, a commemorative shirt, and a branded finishers award. Registration opens June 1, 2017.

No Refunds. Refunds will not be issued for any reason. All race decisions are final.

50 Mile: 6:00 a.m. (time limit: 14 hours)
50K: 7:00 a.m.
25K: 8:00 a.m.
3rd loop cut off time is 3:00 p.m.

There are four aid stations located every 3-4 miles, which will be used multiple times throughout the race. Each station will have firepits going. Drop bag locations will be located at the Start/Finish and Horse Trailer aid stations, which runners will pass two times on any lap. Volunteers will take bags to the Horse Trailer location. Runner's are responsible for retrieving their own drop bag items. Race staff will not return Horse Trailer drop bags to the Start/Finish.

We have the usual foods; chips, PBJ sandwiches, etc., plus nutrition products.

could be anywhere from the 30s with snow to the 60s and sunny. The run will lap back to the parking area in the entire course, so if you need to get shelter in your car, you can. We will also have the ski lodge with wood stove at the starting area and a fire pit at the each aid station.
